Privacy Policy

QWOZ (“QWOZ,” “we,” “us”) operates qwoz.ai. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: leads@qwoz.ai.

Information you give us

When you request access, request an Enterprise briefing, or generate a report with the QOZ Timing Calculator, we collect what you enter in the form:

• your name, email address, and occupation;
• for the calculator, the capital-gain amount, sale date, and state you enter;
• which form you used (for example, the calculator or the Enterprise section).

Your browser also keeps a copy of what you submit in its local storage, as a backup in case the submission doesn't reach us. That copy stays on your device; you can delete it by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Information collected automatically

We don't use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or tracking pixels. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request in order to deliver the site, protect it from attacks, and limit repeated form submissions. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies for that purpose.

The interactive maps load mapping software and Opportunity Zone data directly from Esri (ArcGIS) servers, so Esri receives standard request information such as your IP address. See Esri's privacy statement.

How we use information

• to respond to your request and follow up with you;
• to send the updates the form describes — for example, Opportunity Zone designation updates that affect your calculator dates;
• to operate, secure, and improve the site and our services;
• to comply with law.

Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can always reply “unsubscribe” or write to leads@qwoz.ai.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that process it for us under their own security and privacy commitments (such as Cloudflare for hosting, data storage, and email delivery), when required by law or to protect our rights and users, or as part of a merger, financing, or sale of our business.

Retention

We keep form submissions while we have a relationship with you or until you ask us to delete them, unless we need to keep them longer to comply with law. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you've submitted, or to stop emailing you, by writing to leads@qwoz.ai. We'll respond promptly and may need to confirm your identity first.

Do Not Track

We don't track visitors across other websites, so the site does not change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information you share, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Children

The site is for professionals and investors. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Where we operate

QWOZ is based in the United States. The information you submit is stored and processed by our hosting provider, which runs a global network, so it may also be processed outside the United States.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
